Hope everyone is having a beautiful and festive day. Well this morning while having my coffee (Keurig cup/Carmel Drizzle….LOVE IT!). I decided to work on this project of making a unique dessert set to give a way as a prize Christmas Eve. The prize will be for a game that I am playing during my dessert tasting activity.
This is such a easy & inexpensive project to do. You can also check out a tutorial video I made actually doing this to give you step by step instructions. My youtube channel is: athomewithnikki
PLEASE EXCUSE ALL MY FINGERPRINTS ON THE FLATWARE :). I DID CLEAN THEM UP BEFORE THE FINAL PACKAGING.
What you need:
DESSERT/ICE CREAM SPOONS:
My set cost $2.00 for four at my local base exchange, but you can find them everywhere such as Target, Walmart etc.
RINGS: These are just the inexpensive large fashion rings. I paid $8.00 for ten. on ebay. You can get these at any clothing/fashion store. Try stores like forever 21 etc.
E-6000 GLUE: You can get this from Lowes, Michaels, AC MOORE etc. This is a industrial strength, waterproof glue.
How To Put Together:
So very simple. Using some pliers simply remove the back portion of the ring. Then simply using the E-6000 glue, glue the ring onto the piece. Let dry overnight. Do not place these in the dishwasher. Hand wash only.
