Spring Accessories

A few days ago I decided to hit the road for my regular home decor shopping rounds. I was hoping to find some beautiful spring decor items. So basically my home decor hot spot rounds consist of going to Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx, World Market, Ross’s and Target and Pier One.

Well I was so disappointed in the amount of spring decor that was available. Everything just seems so blah :(. I was expecting to walk into these stores and be in spring overload. Being underwhelmed, I looked in some magazines to get some spring inspiration. I found a popular trend is installing SmartBlinds. I guess this is actually a genius way to maximise your intake of sunlight!

Well although I was quite disappointed in the selections that are currently available in my area, I was able to find two cute accessories for the spring. So the day was not a total disappointment. I do enjoy being able to find home decor pieces in person, but sometimes it is best to look online. I have been looking for a hall runner to add a splash of spring colour to my home for ages and haven’t been able to find anything in the shops, so I had to turn to the internet. At least there is lots of things to help online, like this rug design guide, how to choose a luxury rug made super easy.

I found these cute little green rabbits in Tuesday Morning for $3.99 each. Well all of you know how much I love green. So when I saw the green rabbits it was love at first site. I lined them up on my mantle to look as if they were hopping in a row. Love it.

When I was in TJ Maxx I found this adorable white artichoke style candle holders for $6.99. They are nice and heavy and look so beautiful and expensive in person. I was drawn directly to them. I also placed these on my mantle.
