Fall Inspired Home Bar Makeover

So I am pulling out all of my fall decor and working to get my home all spiced up for the new season.  To start I worked on my wine bar that is located in my office.  In setting it up for fall I wanted to repurpose items that I already had around my home. I love how it turned out and love being able to share the results with you.  -Nikki

I used cake plateaus as pedestals for my wine and glasses.  I thought it gave a new look and the bronze color with crystal accents were a perfect fall look.  I love taking my home items and making them multi-functional.  I got these cake plateaus last year at Ross’s for under $8.00 each.

Another way in which I used a item in a multi-functional way is these decorative bottle accents which are actually napkin rings.  One day you may come to my house and see them accenting my wine bottles, the next time it may be on my dining room table with a crisp white napkin.  There is just no telling with me.  I got these napkin rings from http://havanavintageboutique.com.

I jazzed up this mini lamp for the fall by adding the button on to the flower of the lamp shade.  It adds a nice touch and can be removed after the fall season.  I got this little pendant at Michael’s Arts n Crafts store.  I believe it came in a pack of 4 or 5.

My wine bar is located in my home office.  My home office is decorated in teal with a neutral background and accent colors.  So when fall arrived I knew my decor for my office would be a combination of teals and rich brown tones.  By simply adding some accessories such as this brown WoodWick candle, which I got at Ross’s recently for under $10.00 and this beautiful metal teal pumpkin that I got from Pier One for $18.00 it adds a beautiful look of fall in a subtle way.

This teal and brown plush pumpkin was the perfect accessory to bring the teal and brown color scheme to the wine bar in my office.  I got this pumpkin at Joann’s Fabrics on clearance for $14.00.  It had a not so pretty stem on it which I cut off and replaced with this large studded emblem I had around my home.
