Fall Inspired Fireplace Mantel Makeover

So I just finished decorating my fireplace mantel for the fall season.  I am just so in love with this season.  I am like a kid in a candy store lately having so much fun putting out all my fall decor.  I am enjoying all of the wonderful fall inspired candles and the atmosphere around my home clearly lets you know the fall season is here.
So Chester the Owl made his appearance on our mantel this year.  I just love this owl!  I think it brings a whimsical feel to my mantel place and plays nicely off of my large canvas artwork.  I found him in Ross.  I also just added some wood sticks into my white vase that is a staple year round on my fire place.  I think the wood sticks help transform this vase for the fall.
I had so much fun doing my diy making the “FALL” framed letter art.  Check out my video below to see me put it together and to join my on my journey of transforming my fireplace mantel for the fall.
I think I have some type of addiction to white pumpkins and gourds :).  I just think they give such a clean yet fall inspired feel to your home.  If I cannot find them in white I just paint them, such as the ones that I got from Michaels in this picture.  I also am in love with my little gourd in teal which is also holds a beautiful fragrance inside.   I got this from TJ Maxx.

Here is the video taking you on my journey of making over my fireplace mantel for the fall.  Enjoy!

I am very happy with how my mantel turned out this year.  I think it brings a fun fall look to my home yet still coordinates with my other decor.  I hope that you all are having as much fun as I am unpacking and displaying all your fall decor.

My husband was also in the military. We lived in Wurzburg, Germany for over 4 years (1973-1978) and I got to entertain so many officers wives with all my silver and crystalware. However, it was your website and blog that has inspired me to polish all my silver and etc. And to repurpose the items the Thanksgiving & Christmas Holidays. Thank you so much. .. my name is Diane Garrett and my favorite hobby is scrapbooking therefore, once I found your craft room my husband says I know you learned that from Nikki. (♡lol)

Diane, I lived in Wurzburg, Germany also! I lived there from 1982 to 1990. My dad was in the Army. I actually graduated high school there. What a small world! It makes me so happy to know that you are enjoying my blog and website. Thanks so much. Hope you have a beautiful Thanksgiving. Nikki
