The Mopnado

I was recently contacted by the company Mopnado and asked if I would be interested in trying out their deluxe spin mop.  Being that I had never had a spin mop before I was eager to give this baby a spin.  I was pleasantly surprised by the outcomes.  I completed a video review of the product (video is below).  Mopnado was so kind that they are also sponsoring a give-a-way on my blog to win one of the deluxe models.  Please be sure to enter the give-a-way below.  I hope you enjoy and find my experience with the product helpful.

I’ve been very interested in this line of mopping systems, so I’m thrilled for a chance to try one out! I currently use the O-Cedar brand of wring mops but not a fan of the material that the head is made of, nor their inability to lift dirt well. Thanks for the chance to win!

  3. Michelle McGovern says:

    Hey Nikki!
I usually do floors the old fashion way, by hand. In between I use a steamer but with 4 kids nothing beats a good scrub by hand.
    Wishing you well,
    Michelle

  4. Angela says:

I use the regular cotton head mop that I have to wring out myself.

  21. Lichy says:

I use the sponge mop that had the handle to squeeze the water out. I am all for trying something new that does not require me actually touching the water or squeezing the mop

  22. Monica says:

I’ve never seen this mop before. I’ve been using a a libman mop but I don’t really like it, I feel like it’s not getting my floor clean. My mom said I should just get a scrub brush and scrub the floor.

We recently moved into a home with hardwood flooring and this would be awesome!

I use a microfiber Libman Wonder Mop. I like that its lite weight. Honestly most of the time I use a cloth to wipe the floor. I only have 2 rooms they need mopping the kitchen and bathroom which are not big at all. No need to breakout a mop for weekly cleaning. Only use when I am deep cleaning. I would love to try this system out.

  40. Janet Gill says:

I currently use the H2o steam mop but it seems once that pads get older, wash after wash, they don’t seem to pick up the dirt like they used to. I’m thinking this would be a neat change. Is the ‘bucket’ heavy to lift to the sink to empty out when your done mopping?

  41. Tea says:

I currently use a Lieberman scrub mop, but this sounds so wonderful. I can’t wait to try it.

  42. Clarissa Johnson says:

I have been using a O’Cedar mop and bucket.

But this mop may take our game up to the next level!

  56. Dee says:

An old cheap lousy sponge mop

I use a Reveal Mop for a quick go over daily, and I’m on my knees – hand washing – with a rag for a weekly deep clean. The Mopnado looks like a nice thick mop that would do amazing job. Also looks like it would be easier on my back. I like your honesty when reviewing this product.

I use a huge industry mop and mop bucket I got from my sister. It’s huge just like the ones the janitor uses at the schools & I only have a doublewide. But it was free and does the job lol just big!

  74. Lauren says:

I use a steamer but I’d love to try this mop system! It looks dependable and easy peasy…anything to make those tough jobs easier! Thanks for the giveaway!

I have arthritis in my hand. It sure would be nice not to have to wring out a mop.

  82. Morag says:

I have tried so many mops looking for the ‘perfect’ mop that feels like it is really cleaning. The Mopnado looks like a really innovative item and the spinner would help to soak up spills of water as well.

  83. Prerna says:

I use Swiffer to clean my floors right now, not a big fan of buying refills and use & throw part of it.This Mop seems very nice, will have to checkout. Thanks for great review. I really like your channel amd have learned so many tips for home organizing.

  84. Chrystal says:

Love that you give honest reviews for the products sent to you. Looks like this is a great mop and I’d love a chance to win one and try it for myself.

  85. Tamara says:

Great giveaway. I currently use a Swiffer mop.

  86. Sarah Edgar says:

What a great idea; I haven’t seen those spin mops before. I currently live in Belgium so I’m using the traditional method here, and it’s terrible. You basically have a foam squidgee on a pole and you then have to ‘wrap’ a large cloth around it and hope it stays on while you mop. It never does! It drives me crazy and I would love to be able to use a system like the Mopnado. How much easier life would be 🙂

  87. Marlies says:

Hi! I usually don’t mop my hardwood floors because of my arthritis. The tile floors (tiny kitchen, downstairs toilet and tiny bathroom I mop on my hands and knees with a rag. I would love to try this, if the give away is internationally. Thanks for the review, it is very helpfull!

  88. Tanja says:

This mop looks fabulous, really easy to set up and use. Looks high quality too!

  89. Louise Taylor says:

Love that you are honest with your reviews! I use a simple Weleda mop, the kind that is like a sweeper and you have to wrench with your hands. I have arthritis so it is kind of hard.

  90. Mitral Golden says:

Hello Nikki, right now I’m using a old fashion wring mop, but this mop looks very interesting, I really like that your hands do not have to touch the water. Keep up the great reviews.

  91. Pamela says:

I saw the commercial on this product and thought to was a great idea. So glad you demonstrated it.

  92. Corina says:

I have a regular mop – the cheapest available, actually. I hate the fact that its plastic part is touching the floor when I’m pressing too hard and I’m always afraid it might scratch it. The spinning one looks very nice and it does not seem to have that problem 🙂

  93. sherece prince-britton says:

I currently use the Shark Steam mop, I’m currently looking for another alternative .because after using the steam mop om my wood floors it leave streaks and somehow feels sticky after it drys.

  101. Oline says:

I didn’t think a mop could get me all excited but after seeing your video review I was just convinced! This is a total must-have for my new home that I’ll be moving into soon (thanks for the moving tips you shared in another recent video.)
Have my fingers crossed for that it’s open internationally so that my floors can be sparkling clean – with little effort.

  102. Oslyn Abrams says:

Would love to win this because I just love the features of the mopnado and it looks so easy to use.

  103. Rhonda says:

I use a Rubbermaid mop now. I would love to try this new one out!!!

  104. Becky Clark says:

I love this! I use the old-school stringy kind and have to wring it by hand. We actually have one of those large janitor type mop buckets but it’s so bulky it just stays out in the shop. I feel like it’s too big to wag around my kitchen.

  105. Luly says:

    I use the sniffer

  106. Brenda says:

I am so loving this products Nikki! It looks great for people like me who struggle with arthritis. Thanks for the chance to win one!!

  107. Adriann says:

I use a typical mop and bucket. Recently I was eye balling a Rubbermaid bucket with built in wringer as I have problems with my wrist. This mop and bucket system appears to be more lightweight. Love it!

  108. Parisa says:

Hi Nikki! Loving your videos! Currently we use a swiffer mop for an overview and then just spray/rag and elbow grease for anything deeper.
    Thanks!

  109. Minnie says:

This looks like a great product especially because you don’t have to bend down to wring it! I also like that it comes with an extra mop head. You’re right though, I wish it came in different colors, that orange doesn’t match my colors.

  110. jeannie says:

I usually use a bucket and a rag.

I use a Norwex mop right now.

  121. April says:

I use a Clorox mop right now, and I definitely feel the need for a real mopping system. This one looks very efficient.

  122. Melanie says:

I use the Hurricane Spin Mop which is a similar idea, but the Mopnado seems like it is a much better quality mop!

  123. Theresa says:

I had trouble leaving a comment. The mop looks great. I would love to try it out.

  124. Janaire says:

I knew this would be a great product! I am an infomercial junky and as soon as I saw it, I fell in love! The concept is great!
I currently use the Libman Freedom Spray Mop. And you’re right. Its best for spot cleaning, not a true clean. I have hated the traditional mop so much that I haven’t done a deep clean on my floors in ages. I also like the fact that (as shown in the infomercial) you can use the mop to clean your shower walls.
If you can’t tell, I’m sold! lol!

  125. Priscila Carrella says:

I agree with you Nikki, I would like to see in different colors.

  126. Carina says:

I use a long nasty old school mob and dont feel like it ever gets really clean how i want it. Would be a blessing to win this.

  127. patti says:

How exciting! I love the no getting your hands wet and bending over that you do with conventional mops. The Mopnado seems to have it all…the makers obviously thought this through. Id love to get my hands on the Mopnado to try it out! Thanks Nikki for testing this!

  128. Debra says:

Thanks for the great review Nikki. I currently use a Swiffer mop to clean my floors or the “on my hands and knees” method with a bucket and microfibre cloth. The Mopnado looks like a great alternative!

I use a el’ cheapo mop at moment. This would be amazing to win!!

  131. Kim Williams says:

Thanks for the review, I will be posting!

  132. Teresa Mills says:

I currently use a Swiffer mop, but still find myself getting down on my hands and knees to get all the stuff it misses on a really dirty floor. Since I have Lupus, I often have very stiff hands much like arthritis, so this would definitely make life easier….especially trying to keep up with a toddler as well!

  133. Benne v. says:

Wow ! Enjoyed your review. I would like to get my hands on one of these!

  134. Stephanie says:

This look amazing!! I would love this. I currently use a swiffer type of “mop” from O cedar and it is not working for me. My floors get dirty so easily as I have 4 little kids under 5 yrs old and i have white tile floors all over the house! It is such a pain and a hassle to clean the floors. I need this in my life lol If I were to win the giveaway great, if not, I’ll have to save up for that mop! and I’ll be using your discount code for sure! Thanks Nikki! 🙂 God bless!

I use a steam mop. It does not make my floors feel clean. I love this new product and can’t wait to get one.

  143. Kim says:

I am stuck with just using a swifter because I was born with only 1 arm, and regular ring mopping is just too hard for me to manage.

  144. Jessica says:

I use a swiffer mop and I agree with your comment in the video that they are best used for spot cleaning and I do not fill that it truly cleans my floors but on the other hand I feel like traditional mops just sort of move dirt around and I do like them much eather. The mopnatio looks much better than eather of those options.

This looks pretty cool. Is it hard to push it down to make it spin?

  146. Margaret says:

Product looks neat. I am lucky in that my wonderful husband sweeps and mops at our house, but if I win, I would give it to my mother who has arthritis. Thanks for entering me!

  148. Vicki Conner says:

This looks really convenient. Bucket is on rollers with a handle to pull makes so much easier to handle. I currently use a spin mop but with no any other features

  149. Leonora says:

I use a cheap sponge mop. I have tile and hard wood floors that never seem clean enough. This might work for me. Thanks for all of your helpful info.

  150. sarah parchem says:

I do not currently use a mop. I have gotten used to just using a swifter wet jet! Winning this would get me back in the mopping game. It makes cleaning your floors look fun!

  151. Mary Roberson says:

Such a clever product! Thanks for the review, the discount code and the opportunity to win. This looks like an awesome product for those of us with dexterity and arthritis issues.

  152. Mary Roberson says:

Forgot to say that I use the old fashioned type mop (yuk).

  153. Jessica Page says:

Right now I switch on and off between two different steam mops, an old fashioned mop, a wet mop, and a sponge mop. I was thinking I might try this kind next because I sure have not found the right one for me.

I use the shark steam mop.

  166. Krystal says:

Wow what an awesome product! Not sure if this is an international giveaway, but I’ll enter just in case! We are going to be building a big home this year and I had no idea what I should use to clean the floors – this would be awesome!

  167. Candy Centeno says:

Nikki I would like to be entered in the giveaway, I don’t have a facebook.
    Thanks Candy

  168. Sally says:

This mop looks great. I have 2 mops and both attachments are removable and washable. One has a spray bottle attached which sprays your chosen mopping solution onto the floor and then you mop. The other is an ENJO handle with a generic pad.

  169. Teodora Badea says:

I use a traditional mop and bucket.

  170. Maham says:

I currently use an old rag and get down on my hands and knees to mop the floor. It’s not the easiest but at least I can get my floors clean. This mop you be amazing!

  171. Rashid Mohammed says:

I use an old fashion mop. Nothing fancy just an old mop

  172. Cassie says:

I use a microfiber spray mop…more meant for spot mopping than anything else. Would love to try this product, thanks for the review 🙂

  173. Cassie says:

    Hi Nikki,
Looks like Mopnado’s foldable spin-mop is more your color…you should see if they’ll send you that one to review as well 🙂
Love all your great videos…so informative and beneficial…keep them coming 🙂

  174. Renee Cyrius says:

nice mop! i don’t even know the mop brand im using… its an old basic mop probably from target.

  175. Gwen says:

The old fashioned white rope mop.

  176. Kim McManus says:

I have been using the Reveal mop lately.

  177. I have always used a swiffer just because I hated wringing out the mop, this is amazing! Can’t wait to get mine!

  178. Alicia says:

I use an old fashion mop and bucket, and would love to upgrade to mopnado, even if it is orange, lol.

  179. Michelle says:

I was trying to leave a comment, but I use the old-fashioned, wring with your hands mop now. Yuck. I have been looking for one like this. It’s a great price, and with the discount code and my Prime membership it a great deal all around! Great review!!

  180. CHENELL says:

I currently started to use the O Cedar spin mop, but this one looks a lot better.

  181. Karen says:

This mop looks amazing! For four years, I’ve been using a Rubbermaid Reveal mop because it’s lightweight (which is important to me due to challenges with a tissue disease). Wringing out a mop just won’t work for me, but I’ve always been dissatisfied with the Reveal for deep cleaning. This may be the perfect solution! Thank you so much for the excellent review, and I totally agree some additional colors (especially green) would rock!

  182. Brenna Kimberly Heart says:

I get on my knees and mop the floor with a cleaning spray & rags hahaha

  183. Jessica says:

I currently use a sponge mop (yuck) and I have been looking for something other than the swifter because I feel it doesn’t clean like I would prefer my floor. This product will work great for me as I am preparing for marriage our entire home is covered in hard woods (we hate carpet).

  184. michelle says:

Thanks for the review! What a handy product to have to clean your floors.

  185. JAIMEE ADKINS says:

I currently use a Libman twist mop. It’s nice because my hand strength is not really good. I’d like to enter the give away.

  186. Kim Gumapas says:

I usually use the swiffer system, the standard disposable wet/dry cloths…it’s not fancy but it gets the job done without hurting my back.

  187. Jean says:

I use a different kind of mop with a ringer attached to it and a bucket. It leaves the floor much wetter than this one does. I have a large bust and short legs so anything that doesn’t require bending down or reaching too far suits me.

  188. Susan Perry says:

I scrub on my hands and knees too… Would love to win this! LOL Thanks for great videos!

  189. Angela Dukes says:

Hi Nikki, I use the Walmart store brand mop! Lol

  190. Dana H says:

What a neat mop! Looks like it should make mopping floor easier. Thanks Nikki!

  191. Amy Zubeldia says:

As a former military dependent, I appreciate and enjoy watching your videos and reading your blog. I currently use a Smart & Final brand string mop, along with a yellow industrial bucket on wheels. Looking forward to your giveaway and discount offer.

  192. Denise says:

    I use the Shark Steamer

  193. Sarah says:

My puppy’s tongue? Nah, I get on my hands and knees with a bucket and wash cloth and a swiffer for maintenance.

  194. Tammy says:

I currently use a sponge mop and have been disappointed with the different ones I have tried. This mop you reviewed is intriguing.

  195. Theresa Dobey says:

I am so old school, I use the regular mop that you wring out with your hand, you know the one that you mother may have used and the regular bucket.

  196. Jennifer says:

I am glad you posted this. I have been looking for a new mop, I do not like most mops out there. I am currently using one of the mops that has the detachable head that can be thrown in the washer. It’s ok, I also do alot of going behind that on my hands and knees. I will definitely look more into this mop. Thanks!

  197. Nichole Cramberg says:

Love your reviews…..seems like a good product!

  198. Valerie Henry Williams says:

    I currently use the irobot

  201. Aria T Moore says:

thankyou for the chance to win this mop

  202. Kathleen Cazander says:

I have used swiffer or swiffer type mops for years now and I have to agree that it just doesn’t do a good job other than quick touch ups. The mopnato looks like it does a great job without getting your hands in the yucky dirty water.

  203. Melissa DuBois says:

Watched this product review and I am impressed! I like the lime better than the orange and I agree the colors should be more neutral maybe even just a bright white 🙂

  204. Tracy Carter says:

I currently use a swifter. I am a teacher and would love to use the Mopnado in my classroom. I love your youtube videos. However this is my first time on your blog. Great videos and live the honesty. My very first video was if your the details of your lovely green craft room. Since then I have been hooked. Continue to inspire.

  205. Gina H. says:

My son is my mop:) He uses the old fashioned long strand mop, and occasionally has to use a rag on his hands and knees.

  206. Laurie O says:

Thank you for your wonderful blog and videos! Currently using a steamer for my floors, but it “runs out of steam” too frequenly! I would love to try the Mopnado!

  207. kisha smith says:

I love trying new floor cleaners we moged in our first home a short while ago and have been trying to keep hard wood floors clean . Currently use a steam mop but it really is a quick clean and every other mop has not held up we r a big family who mops daily. Would really be interested I. Trying this one out. Thanks again for doing this review.

  208. yaneth Mondragon says:

I would love this mop for my own home, but for my mother’s home as well. She suffers from a bad back, and this would make it very convenient for her.

  209. yaneth Mondragon says:

I would love to have this mop. It looks amazing.

  210. Mary Snelling says:

I currently use a sponge mop and double buckets

  211. LeaB says:

I currently use a steam mop

  212. Hope J. says:

I used a regular mop with no bells and wistles. I would love to see how this mop work and if it deeps cleans. Great review, Nikki!

  213. Terri says:

I use a swifter. I could never afford this but it actually looks like it would be better than a traditional mop as far as my arthritis is concerned and it looks like it could clean better. You could even just damp mop with hot water most days and it would be cheaper and less toxic to your home.

  214. Joan says:

I currently mop by hand with a bucket and rag and spot clean with my shark steam mop pro. I don’t think mops truly get my floor clean so I go old school. I would love to try this out and see if I can save my knees and start using an actual mop. Thanks for the review Nikki!

  215. Courtney says:

I would love to win.. Me and my mom bought a cheaper version semi-recently, and man it is just not good at all.

  216. linda says:

Looks like the promotion code has expired. 🙁

  217. Rob says:

Seems great, but the code is dead.
