My 2015 Spring Handbag Organization

My Spring handbag is here! By the time a new season starts I am so excited to switch out my handbags. I absolutely love handbags; they really manage to spruce up any outfit. I’ve always craved a designer handbag, like this fake Chanel bag by Mau-fashion.com, but this year I’ve kept the designer needs at bay. This Spring I made a huge decision to attempt to carry a smaller handbag. For those who know me, I always love my large handbags. I have carried larger handbags for years. This season I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could organize a smaller bag that functions just as well as my larger bags. In the video below I share with you my new handbag along with how I have it organized. If you’re looking around to find a bag that suits you for this season, you might also want to have a look around at review sites such as this Maria Dipalo’s Handbags Review article.
The bag that I am carrying this Spring is the Hobo Joann clutch from Hobobags.com. I love the carmel color with the combination with the teal Ralph Lauren wallet. This is a perfect combination for the Spring season. I got the Hobo clutch and Ralph Lauren wallets for a fraction of the price at Marshall’s.

Christian women. If images of the Womens Institute, tweed, and coffee mornings spring to mind, then its time to think again. Parties, men, careers, friends – life can be pretty demanding for the modern woman. But what if youre Christian, too – or at least a little bit curious about this “God” figure you hear so much about? Surely you cant have a fun Saturday night and turn up to church the following morning as well? Religion just doesnt fit into a modern girls life, right?

As effervescent as chilled champagne and as comforting as a tray of Belgian chocolates – welcome to Heaven in Your Handbag, a whole new take on Christianity for the hard-working, dance all night but still morally upright chick about town. Mazzi Binaisa, who admits to being partial to both of the above, takes you through the typical challenges modern women face in four snappy and savvy chapters: You, Love, Work, and Friends. Mazzi mixes vivid testimonies, surprising new angles on familiar biblical texts, along with smart advice on how to escape the disaster date. And she shares her greatest discovery – that we are all invited to enjoy a love affair that is richer and more fulfilling and fun than any other.

Love the colours and items you chose Nikki, but I couldn’t get by with such a small bag. I think I carry too many “just in case” items with me!

  2. Latrice says:

I love audiobooks. I listen to them as I travel from client to client and long trips to the bay area. I Will definitely check out this devotional.
And right now I am struggling to decide large small or medium handbag. LOL😆

Even though I love my larger handbags (totes are my choice) I also have a very small zippered bag that I purchased from Charming Charlie’s. It has three small zippered compartments that work beautifully when I am out in crowds, traveling or on a hot day when I don’t want to carry around a heavier and larger tote. I’m learning to pare down what I have and the compartments are perfect. One for money/cards. One for keys and one for phone and lip gloss. It’s working and saving my shoulder! There are also small sizes of accessories and makeup that make it fun to shop for! Blessings to you enjoy your videos!!!

I usually carry a bigger bag. I carry a lanyard that takes up a good bit of purse room. I would have to scale down my keys to accommodate a smaller bag. It would be a cool experiment. I do try to carry a smaller purse around Christmas time due to the holiday crime against women shoppers. I enjoy your videos and blog. I can tell you put a lot into them. TFS

Happy Friday! I CANNOT part with my large handbag! I have inventoried everything that I carry & I truly use everything in my purse. If I need a smaller bag (on rare occasions) I will take both with me to my destination & discreetly make the change. Love the colors of your bag though!! N-joy HIS day!

I like the handbag and the accessories you have in there the colors are very pretty.

Thank You for your video. My mother’s word of wisdom “Why do you carry a backpack everywhere?”. Told her it was a large purse, she said “No, it’s a backpack & your posture & shoulder are suffering, you don’t see a man carrying a suitcase with his toiletries, therefore a lady should only carry a small purse, like Channel, etc”. Since then I carry a large tote or bag in my car with all necessities, and a smaller bag for going places (similar to yours), my posture is better & I feel more elegant. Love your color combination!. I also enjoy all your videos.

I love a large bag, I like to be able to have all my must haves! calendar, pens bag, tech bag, makeup bag, glass case, small biz card for referrals if asked and wallet!

  9. Mary Ann says:

Very pretty color coordinated look with all the necessary items we carry in our bags. I prefer a larger bag though, but it gives me inspiration to be more organized like you. You rock Nikki, I just love watching your post and videos !!! God Bless you always ~ mary from Texas

  10. Avia says:

You know Nikki! most days I even have the cooker and dishwasher in my bag as my hubby would say, so I am definitely for bigger bags, but if am only going to run a couple of errands a smaller bag usually does the trick.

Thank you for sharing! I’m just getting back into using handbags. I’m used to just carrying ID, debit card, insurance info in a wallet in my back pocket at work. I really enjoy your videos on YouTube, your style and organization are very inspirational to me after my divorce. You are like my virtual girlfriend! Thank you for sharing your ideas and walking us through your thought process on so many projects. I’m trying to get organized with a project binder like yours. But I’m so overwhelmed with the changes I want to make around my house! I especially appreciate that you are budget conscious. I would rather save the bulk of my money for retirement, so budget friendly is exactly what I need! You are truly an inspiration and someone I admire. God bless you!
