So yesterday was a really rainy day. Definitely a day to stay home and cuddle under your blanket with a good book or youtube videos :). So early that morning I knew I wanted to break out my crockpot for dinner. I’d recently seen lots of different recipes for crockpot dishes online like this Delicious Crockpot Prime Rib Recipe For The Whole Family, but I thought I’d stick with something I knew one more time before testing the waters! So I decided to make an apple maple chicken crockpot recipe that I had, along with some nice homemade bread in the bread maker. Both turned out yummy! Wanted to share some pictures of my process and the recipe with all my friends. Hope your having a beautiful day! Nikki
My Must Have!
I have mentioned this product in a prior video. I love my slow cooker liners! They save so much on my clean-up. I just simply place a liner in my crockpot and begin cooking. When we are done, simply trash the liner and we are good to go!
STEP ONE: Season Chicken
I first seasoned my chicken and placed it into the crockpot.
What seasonings did I use?
Allspice, Season Salt, Black Pepper, Cilantro, Basil
STEP TWO: Chop 5 apples into large chunks.
I chopped approximately 5 red apples into large chunks. I just love my new kitchenAid knife. My mother purchased it for me and wanted me to give this brand of knives a try. Love it!
STEP THREE: Add the flavor.
After putting the apples into the crockpot with the chicken. I added 1/2 cup of Tuscan House Italian dressing and 1/2 cup of maple syrup to the apple and chicken. Then stirred everything together.
STEP FOUR: Let the crockpot cook away!
I set the crockpot on high and cooked for 5 to 6 hours. Then you are ready to serve!
Dinner is served!

Nikki, I like how you have your spices organized in a drawer. I may try this. Where did you purchase your bottles? I’m going to save this recipe also! Was it good? Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks Rasheda. That spice drawer has been very user friendly this way. I got the containers from IKEA. You get 4 for about 3.99. World market has the ones with the shaker features on them for about the same price also. Hope your doing great.
Thanks for sharing, Nikki! I love our crockpot, too! I will try this recipe soon. Too bad my printer isn’t programmed to my iPad, but tomorrow is paperwork, so I will be at the pc & can print it from there. Nikki, hope you have a beautiful Sunday! See you soon!
This looks great Nikki!! I am definitely going to try this recipe, probably this week. Will you please do a video of your kitchen and organization video. Where do you store your kitchen appliances i.e. bread maker, crock pots, food processor, blender, pots pans etc.? Thank you
Hi Nikki, where should i look for the crock pot liners. I’ve gone to several stores and they don’t carry them. (walgreen, s-mart, food for less and walmart)…

I’m excited to find out about crock-pot liners, especially since they make liners that are BPA free! I’m going to give this recipe a try! Thanks.
