Window Shopping Wednesday 3/4/2015

I am a couple hours late posting this week’s “Window Shopping Wednesday’s” post.  That is because I was out doing some real deal shopping my friends.  My husband and I decided that we wanted to tackle our downstairs half-bath in one day.  We had been putting this project on the back burner for so long.  It was finally time to make a move.  We had our plans (which we made several months back), so we were ready to roll.  I plan on showing you the outcome and our journey as we put this space together soon.  I hope you will enjoy.  For my new readers, “Window Shopping Wednesday” is a post that I do every week where I take you window shopping with me.  Money is no issue, we can choose what we love and we don’t have to purge anything in our home to make room for new things, because we are only looking.  Huge smiles.  Window shopping this week I enjoyed the color of navy blue.  It is just such a vibrant and rich color.  Makes me feel relaxed.  I am really thinking about incorporating this color in my back porch decor this spring season.  I hope you had a wonderful week so far.  Be blessed my friends!

nikki i love your style however a budget friendly suggestion would be great. I was drwan to you because of the frugal ways you use to create million dollar looks. I know this is only dreaming but it would be good to see where I can get a deal 🙂

    Hi Wendy,
Thank you so much Wendy! You know I am one that loves to window shop looking at beautiful (sometimes high end) pieces and then seeing how I can take that look and bring it in my home for a budget. In my blogs and videos I am always sharing budget friendly tips. The purpose of Window Shopping Wednesday is to look at inspirations. Things that we think are absolutely beautiful no matter the price. Then to think “How can I do this same look on a budget”. I get asked all the time how do I go about the thought process with decorating my home. Well here it is :). I look in beautiful magazines and I window shop the best! This is my way of sharing with you, how I get my inspirations. I hope you enjoyed it. Have a beautiful day my friend. Hugs. Nikki

Wow! You two are a great team. I love that Mountain Smoke. It is such a rich color. Did the wainscoting come in white or did you have to paint it? Great job. Your videos are so inspiring. Keep ’em coming…any things you share big or small are such a blessing.
Did I read that you will be making a binder spring clean video? Would love to tackle that next in my home but need your guidance. :o)
