In my latest video I share with you how I used the 5 senses of touch, smell, taste, sound and sight to bring the Fall spirit to my home. I shared how I incorporated the senses of smell through updating my cleaning caddy for the Fall. One of the key elements in updating my cleaning caddy was using Mrs. Meyers limited edition Fall inspired cleaning products. Before cleaning your home it’s important to tidy and declutter, and you could try self storage to help with this.
Many of you know that I use the Grove Collaborative as my shopping source for all my home cleaning products and supplies. I have been utilizing their service for over a year now and I have been extremely happy and impressed with their service. Basically, each month they send me all of the cleaning products that I need to keep my home stocked with the proper cleaning necessities. I love the fact that I don’t have to go out and purchase these items and the process is so simple and customizable.
So this month the Grove Collaborative sent me the new Mrs. Meyers Fall edition scents to try out. All I can say is my nose spoke the words Yummy! These scents are amazing and really gives you the warmth of Fall.
One of the two Mrs. Meyers Fall limited edition products that they sent me was the Multi-Surface everyday cleaner in the Mum scent. If you have followed me for some time you know that their multi-surface cleaner gets highly used around my home. I use it on just about everything!
I was also sent the dish soap and hand soap in the Apple Cider scent. Again, these scents were amazing! The Mrs. Meyers dish and hand soap are a staple in my home. To be able to switch up the scents from my traditional basil scented soaps is refreshing for the new season. While I enjoy using these hand soaps in the home, when I’m out and about, I prefer to use something like a bottle of Hand Sanitizer Canada to keep myself germ-free after coming into contact with potentially dirty surfaces.
I often get asked where I get my cleaning sponges. These cleaning sponges are also a staple item that is kept in my cleaning caddy. I love that they are natural and made from renewable plant materials. Of course they come to me straight from the Grove Collaborative.
For years I have used simple toothbrushes to clean those hard to reach spaces in my home. I keep them categorized by their uses due to some require water and some do not. In the video above I share with you how I use these toothbrushes. I keep a set in my downstairs cleaning caddy and also a set in my upstairs cleaning caddy. They are truly the secret weapon of my cleaning caddy.
I am really excited and happy to have my cleaning caddy refreshed for the Fall season. It gives me that extra motivation needed to clean my home. I highly recommend that you check out the Grove Collaborative and give their service a try. As I stated in the beginning of this post, I am a very happy customer and have been with them for some time now. They are also a company that gives back. They are the sponsors of this blog post and informed me that they will be selecting 10 of my viewers/readers that sign up for their service and sending $100.00 per person (10) to the Red Cross for the Hurracain Matthew relief in those viewers/readers names. They will email the 10 people to inform them they were selected.
