Christmas is such a magical time! Although I love the warmth of all the holiday decor, I also love finding ways to maintain the cozy feel of the holidays at the beginning of the new year. Taking advantage of my motivation at the start of the new year, I jump right into giving my home a beautiful refresh with my decor and organization. I want to share a few of my simple go-to tips for maintaining a cozy feel in your home after the holidays.
Bringing plant life (real or artificial) into your home is a beautiful way to add warmth to any space. In refreshing my upstairs hallway a quick trip to Hobby Lobby gave me everything I need to bring the coziness back to my home after the holidays, starting with a great selection of decorative plants.
Christmas will have your home glistening with the beautiful lights from the Christmas tree and garlands, which can dramatically affect your home when you put the Christmas decor away. Lamps are an excellent way to maintain a warm and cozy feel after the holidays. One tip is to replace the sparkle from your ornaments in your decor. For example, I mimicked the look of my Christmas ornaments with the style of lamp that I chose to use in my hallway. The Silver Diamond Mercury Glass Lamp from Hobby Lobby is beautiful perfection!
Candles are a must-have in my home year-round. I love catering my scents to the season. I usually like to move away from the pine scents and ease into using eucalyptus. My go-to store is Hobby Lobby, and they did not disappoint again this year. I found my perfect transitional scent for my home called Crushed Eucalyptus.
My final tip is to take a trip to Hobby Lobby. You will find aisles and aisles of inspiration to help you get started. I love walking through Hobby Lobby, both in-person and online because I know that I will leave with beautiful finds to help me accomplish my home goals. #HobbyLobby #HobbyLobbyFinds
Wishing you a cozy start to your new year my friend.
