Fridge Organization & Food Prep Tips
I shared on my Instagram how rewarding it feels each week once food prep is complete. My husband and I are really trying to make smart decisions when it comes to what we eat. One key component of eating properly is having an organized fridge which is stocked with healthy items which are ready to eat. It can be difficult to organize yourself to prep your meals so far in advance, but it is so much easier when your fridge is organized and full of the types of food you should be eating. This prevents us from making bad food choices and will save time in the whole food prep process, as you won’t have to waste time searching through the fridge. In the video below I share with you how I have my entire fridge organized and also my food prep process. I hope you will enjoy!
Chalkboard labels are the perfect tool to use to keep track of food and drink expiration dates. You will want to be sure to use labels that are dishwasher friendly. This way you do not have to replace them when cleaning your containers.

As I’m sure you can tell, I’m very happy with my new fridge and I’m so proud of how I have it laid out. Before you ask, yes I have it covered by home warranty, as I would be heartbroken if it broke and I then had to pay for it! Tennesseans can find home warranty at https://homewarranty.firstam.com/homeowner/home-warranty/tennessee, but those living in other states will no doubt be able to find cover in their state as well.

Nikki, Beautiful as usual. But I wanted to let you know one thing I know for sure that maybe you don’t. Tomatoes should never be kept in the refrigerator. It ruins the flavor. They should always be stored at room temperature, so belong in your pantry instead.

I have been waiting for your new fridge video to come out. It’s so pretty. I love the aqua/teal color bins that you put in. I’m trying to find where you purchased them. I bought the under sink teal containers at Target also. I’m bringing that color into my home as well. Love that color. I also love the Canister idea, going to do that also. I bought the teal bags at Target and I’m going to label mine. Love your videos because there not only functional but pretty as well. Thank you so much for sharing.
