Goodwill $5.00 Challenge

Spring is knocking at our back door and ready to come in! With that being said, I have been wanting to spruce up my back porch. I love this area in my home. It is the place where I go to relax and enjoy the spring weather. Needless to say, after a long winter it is time for a “refresh” on the back porch.
Hilary from the youtube channel My-So-Called Home initiated a spring inspired $5.00 Goodwill challenge. With this challenge you basically have to go to Goodwill and shop spring items for your home. The catch is that you cannot spend more than $5.00! Well I was up for the challenge! See all my finds and how they look in my home in the video below. Hope you enjoy!

You may also notice in the video that I recovered my outdoor ottoman with new fabric. I love the new look! Initially I was wanting to go with one of the four options below, but when I got to the fabric store I fell in love with the one I chose.

Nikki! Eeeekkk I am so excited, you did a great job! I love that challenge. I might challenge myself to do the same thing. Also I just can’t believe it but for the last 8 years my husband and I owned the very same desk ( looks just like it)… I kid you not! He bought it at a yard sale for $50.00 ( it had been donated to the fundraiser yard sale from a banker) and we in turn when done with it donated it to Goodwill. I wonder if you bought ours here it was here NC! LOL
It will be a great DIY project!
