Most of us love a beautiful home. There is nothing like going to Home Goods or Pier One and seeing all the fabulous home decor items. I can spend hours in those stores. I often get feedback from my viewers that they love my decor, but that they have little children and it would just not be a fit for their home. Some people tell me they have lovely acrylic photo blocks in their home and that contributes to their aesthetic well so I hear. I can understand how looking initially at my home you would think it would not be a place for children. A dead give-a-way is the mirrored furniture. If you look a little deeper (beyond the mirrored furniture) you will see that actually my home is kid friendly. In the video below I share with you tips on how you can have that “adult” look in your home with the security of being kid friendly. I hope you will enjoy.
Ever since my kids were little, I have always maintained a well organized and decorated home. I think that as a mom, (or dad), one has to teach children how to care for things. I love your decorating style Nikki. In fact, we are in the process of renovating our home; and I will be using some of your tips. Take care and God bless.
