How to Organize Under the Kitchen Sink

Picture

One of the most challenging spaces to organize in your home is under the kitchen sink. When organizing under the kitchen sink we have to be creative to get the most use around the pipes and garbage disposal. Maybe I can get even more space if I talk to a Plumber Frankston to get the most efficient plumbing set up and then decide to check out some sinks at places similar to www.annieandoak.com/collections/nantucket-sinks to get some sink inspiration that might help you with organizing your sink. I was excited to share with you how I organized under my kitchen sink to maximize space in the video below.
One of the reasons why finding space under your kitchen sink is so difficult is because of the way the water-pipes have been installed. Regrettably, there are no easy, dependable DIY fixes for a badly-planned kitchen sink pipes. It might require the service of professional plumbers such as the charlotte plumbing experts to fix these issues and thus make up more space for storage.

The first step to any home organization project is to clear the space and purge the items that are not needed. Under your kitchen sink you want to only place those items that you need.

Hey Nikki! Love this! Where can I find the cleaning caddy?

  2. Cathy says:

  3. Kelli says:

Hi Nikki. Loved your under sink organization. Did you make the “clean” sticker?

  4. Diana says:

Thank you for sharing this! I appreciate your tip about the single sink, as we are getting ready to replace ours. And I haven’t used SOS pads in a while; guess I got scared they would scratch things. But if Nikki uses them, it’s probably a good idea…putting it on my list now 🙂

  5. Christine says:

    Love this! Beautifully done!

  6. Kellee says:

Hey there Nikki, I don’t have to tell you how much you inspire me and give me so much inspiration. I just ordered my under the sink Baskets from Amazon so that I can start my organizational process under my sink. I would like to know though, where or how did you make your cleaning caddy under your sink?

  13. Joan says:

Love your organizational videos. Now I want to organize my spaces. Thank you..

  14. Gari says:

I just viewed your two videos of your craft room and was truly impressed. I have a 3 room quilting studio that is so messed up I have not been able to get back to work in it. (I got sick last spring and in June was diagnosed with breast cancer that had already spread into most of my bones. I missed summer but finally got on a medication that is strengthening my bones and helping me to feel stronger.) Meanwhile as I was going down the mess in my studio was piling higher and higher. I can’t stand for long periods so am slowly beginning to put things in the places designated for them and your organization has inspired me to try to work a little harder so I can get back to creating and using what time I have to make a last minute mark, or whatever time I have. Thanks for the inspiration, just when I needed it.

  15. michelle says:

No matter what I do it seems like wasted space in the kitchen that should have some practical use other than stuff getting pushed into the back corner and forever forgotten because you can’t reach it.

I just found you- via Pinterest- LOVE this!

I was wondering though- do you have a dish drainer? If so, where do you store it? How about a dish ‘pan’, or do you use the entire sink when washing dishes? I have a dish drainer that I am constantly putting under the sink and then taking back out, as I hate having it sitting on the counter- but you don’t have room for such under that beautifully organized sink area.

Thanks for your help- I’ll be wandering around your blog…
